Kay Mok

Kay Mok is a Partner at Scale Asia Ventures with over 15 years of international venture investing experience. He has invested in more than 30 startups, including Amity, Aptoide, Carsome and Finnomena. Previously, he served as Managing Partner at Gobi Global, where he helped build the firm’s regional investment platform and led cross-border scaling initiatives across Asia. Earlier in his career, Kay Mok managed investments for a $500 million fund at Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and co-founded Private Express, a Silicon Valley–based cybersecurity startup. He holds a B.A. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from San Jose State University.
